MySalonHub

Terms of service

Last updated 8 August 2026

These terms cover salons using MySalonHub to run their bookings. If you're a client who booked an appointment, the agreement about your treatment is between you and the salon — these terms don't change that, and the privacy notice is the page you probably want.

1. What MySalonHub is

MySalonHub is booking software: a diary, a client list, consultation forms, deposits and reminders. We provide the tools. We don't provide beauty treatments, we don't employ your staff, and we aren't a party to anything you agree with a client.

2. Your account

You need to be 18 or over and running a genuine business. Keep your password to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.

You're responsible for what you put into MySalonHub: that your treatment descriptions are accurate, that your prices and deposit terms are right, and that you hold whatever insurance, qualifications and local licences your treatments require. We don't check any of that.

3. Trial and payment

4. Deposits and client payments

Deposits go directly into your own Stripe account. MySalonHub never holds your clients' money and takes no cut of it. That also means the commercial relationship on those payments is yours: you set the deposit, you decide your refund policy, and if a client disputes a charge, the chargeback is against you, not us.

You must have a deposit and cancellation policy your clients can see before they pay, and you must honour it. The Refund button in your diary refunds through your Stripe account.

5. Your data is yours

Your client list, your diary and your consultation forms belong to you. We don't sell them, we don't use them to market to your clients, and we don't share them with other salons.

Under data protection law you are the controller of your client data and MySalonHub is your processor. In plain terms that means we act on your instructions, we don't use client data for our own purposes, we keep it secure, we tell you promptly if there's ever a breach, and we help you answer clients who ask to see or delete what you hold. This section, together with the privacy notice, forms the processing agreement between us.

Two things that come with being the controller: you need a lawful reason to hold what you hold, and you need to answer your clients' requests about it. The consultation form collects health information, so it asks for explicit consent and tells the client how long it's kept.

If you leave, ask us and we'll export everything to you. Consultation forms are deleted automatically 7 years after the appointment.

6. What you can't do

We may suspend an account that's doing these things. Where we can, we'll ask you to fix it first.

7. Reviews

Review requests go only to clients whose appointment actually happened, and each client can review each appointment once. You can hide a review from your public page, but you can't edit what someone wrote — a review section you can rewrite isn't worth having.

8. Uptime and support

We aim to keep MySalonHub available all the time and we take nightly off-site backups, but this is a small product and we don't offer a contractual uptime guarantee. If something's broken, email hello@mysalonhub.co.uk — a booking system that's down on a Saturday morning gets treated as urgent.

Keep a way of contacting your clients that doesn't depend on us. That's not us dodging responsibility; it's what any sensible business does with any supplier.

9. Liability

MySalonHub is provided as it is. We're liable for what the law says we're liable for and we don't try to exclude anything that can't be excluded — in particular death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud. Beyond that, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.

We aren't liable for the treatments you carry out, for a client who doesn't turn up, or for a decision you made based on a consultation form. Those are yours.

10. Ending it

Cancel whenever you like, from Billing in your dashboard. We can end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, and we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data unless the breach makes that impossible.

11. Changes to these terms

If we change anything that materially affects you, we'll email you at least 30 days beforehand. Carrying on using MySalonHub after that means you accept the change; if you'd rather not, cancel and you won't be charged again.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
